From 1970, this was actually filmed in Iran with the co-operation of The Shah. It's a caper film about a group of desert bandits, led by james mitchum, who plot to steal the crown jewels of Iran. Also stars Stuart Whitman. Directed by Jean Negulesco. Some of Sommers' dancing scenes were choreographed by Rudolf Nuryev. Formerly a rental, this hard to find VHS is in great shape and it plays just fine.
